Disco Acciaio, Hydra Mentale

Disco Acciaio is a recent release of the long-running zine Hydra Mentale. It takes the form of a 45 rpm record featuring the tracks Acciaio and Ambienti Saturi, originally recorded in 1986 by JoyKix Kix. The tape containing these recordings was rediscovered intact at the end of 2025, inside a box believed to have been lost during a move in the late 1980s. The edition is limited to 150 copies. Each copy is packaged within a unique, numbered poster and accompanied by a micro-fanzine. Mina hosted the presentation of Disco Acciaio, in the form of an exhibition featuring graphics, video, and archival materials. Photography by Eugenia Eukene
